Meet Mrs. Bennett

Family

I was born and raised in Utah and grew up in the little town of Monticello. My husband Joe and I traveled around with the Airforce for five years before we settled back in Utah. We live in Central Utah in a small town called Mona.
We have five kids: three girls and two boys. Claire (14), Liam (12), Rand (10), Paige (8), and Brittany (7).
We are usually busy with taking care of our animals and sports activities. We just started rock climbing as a family this summer!

Education

I started my undergraduate years at Snow College, originally focusing on Communications. I love music and wanted to be a radio DJ! I graduated from Snow and continued my Communications focus at Southern Utah University for one year before I decided to change course. I earned my teaching certificate from Western Governors University online and later became an online graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University for my Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership.

Meet Mrs. Ormond

Hi!

I grew up in a small town in Idaho called Filer. I have the sweetest little family with my husband Nathan and our two kids Wyatt and Elise. I love travelling and have been to 15 different countries.

School Days

I began college at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, ID with an associates degree in Liberal Arts. From there, I went to Utah State University (go Aggies!) and graduated with a bachelors' degree in Elementary Education.

Teaching Career

This is my 7th year teaching. I have taught 4th grade in both Logan, UT and Kaysville, UT. I also have taught 5th grade in River Heights, UT and online for Davis Connect. I love the flexibility that online learning provides and love working here at Utah Connections Academy!
